Medicines Development Limited utilises the project team structure as the hub of the development process as this method ensures effective communication between the various functional experts contributing to each program. Medicines Development Limited also utilises a number of project management tools to support this structure, including working with the Project Team to prepare a Development Plan and translate this into a highly detailed work (project) plan in Microsoft Project. The Project Plan helps to identify the critical path, key milestones, resource and budgetary requirements, progress (including slippage in the program), and decision points. We then use a number of  personalised communication tools to provide efficient dissemination of information to the Project Team and key stakeholders.
