2023 International Conference on Public Health in Africa

Mark Sullivan AO, Founder and Managing Director of Medicines Development for Global Health was a panelist at the 2023 International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) held in Zambia on November 27. Organised by Global Institute for Disease Elimination (GLIDE), Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and Uniting Efforts, the event examined the feasibility of regional and country-specific solutions for sustainable procurement of new health technologies for neglected tropical diseases. Mark said that the forum was an excellent opportunity to discuss the need for new models for development and supply of medicines for NTDs.
